BUDGET BEFORE YOU GENERATE

Pika credits & retry calculator

How many clips or images can your credits cover—and what do retries add?

I budget for another attempt before pressing Generate. Choose our tested Pika 2.5 costs, an official model rate, or the estimate shown beside your own Generate button.

Plan your outputs

Enter your remaining balance. This can differ from your plan’s full allowance.

1 retry = 2 paid attempts per kept output: the first try and one more try.

Dollar cost: choose your purchase

Use the original purchase’s credits and price to value each credit. For annual billing, enter one month’s credit allowance and the annual price divided by 12.

YOUR CREDIT BUDGET

Your estimate

Choose your settings, then calculate.

Kept outputs are a planning estimate based on your retry allowance. More attempts can still miss your brief.

COMPARE A CREDIT PACK

What could a top-up cover?

Choose a published pack. We’ll use the model and retry allowance selected above.

$25$1,000

The slider moves through listed packs. The $1,000 pack includes the listed 10% bonus.

Replaces the calculator’s balance and purchase values with this pack. It does not make a purchase.

What the numbers mean

Our tested generation costs

Pika 2.5 at five seconds cost us 20 credits at 720p for image-to-video, and 45 at 1080p for both input methods. Each attempt produced one output. Change to your account’s estimate if its settings or quote differ.

Official model rates

The model menu includes Pika’s published rates for Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 at 720p/five seconds, and Nano Banana 2 and GPT Image 2.5 at one 1K image. Use a custom quote for other settings, models or audio.

Dollar cost is allocated credit value

We divide your purchase price by its included credits, then multiply by the credits your outputs need. This is the value of credits consumed. Your subscription bill stays the same, and unused allowance can raise your effective cost per kept output.

Show the calculation
  • Attempts per kept output = 1 + retries.
  • Credits per kept output = credits per attempt × attempts per kept output.
  • Output capacity = available credits ÷ credits per kept output, rounded down.
  • Credits for your goal = outputs wanted × credits per kept output.
  • Allocated dollar cost = credits used × purchase price ÷ purchase credits.
What if Generate shows a range, such as 11–417?

The lower number is only part of the estimate. Select the custom rate and enter the upper number for a conservative budget. A 339-credit balance cannot cover a 417-credit upper estimate. Read the app’s estimate before submitting; the completed charge may differ from the estimate.

What happens to unused credits?

Pika’s official pricing page says plan credits refresh each billing period without rollover. Purchased top-ups carry over and expire 365 days after purchase. Top-ups apply to Pika Create; they do not cover the API, MCP, iOS app or old.pika.art. Read the official credit rules ↗

This estimate covers one generation setting. Include source-image, audio or editing costs separately. Taxes, upgrade adjustments, refunds and mixed purchases are outside this calculation. Your entries stay in your browser.
